3” x 4” x 17’ Douglas Fir Posts

These reclaimed boards were originally installed in mushroom growing warehouses for Campbell’s Soup in 1949! The blonding effect is caused by natural aging as well as a prolonged exposure to vermiculite and vermiculite dust, which may add a preservative/protective element to the wood. It may rot with prolonged exposure to moisture, but notably we haven’t seen a single termite in years. There are nails in each board, hence the low price. We have about 160 in stock, with thousands more to come.
