Old Growth Douglas Fir 2X4s from Historic Canning Bui

Reclaimed dimensional lumber from the historic canning building that formerly housed Fry’s Electronics in Palo Alto. The oldest parts of this building were constructed in 1918 for the Bayside Canning Company; all of the wood recovered from the building is high quality, durable Douglas Fir.

The material includes 2X4s ranging from 8' to 14' in length. Many of the boards have a beautiful and distinctive light blue paint, all of which has been tested for lead.

This is a great opportunity to preserve the legacy of a historic landmark and keep material from the landfill!
