The largest section of Wall preserved from the Origonal home of Juana Briones, the Woman who built the first home in Palo Alto and Los Altos Ca. it is a style of architecture used in pre gold rush California with only two known examples. It incorporates hand split old growth Redwood, ramed earth, and Mortice and tenon construction. The doorway header and right side, or larger section of the original front entry way is preserved in plywood and stored in Pescadero ca, along with the bones of the house. The smaller section is in the Loby of the Palo Alto museum evaded in plexiglass.
